Cidori works at the intersection of further education and employment, partnering with colleges and businesses across the UK to deliver funded apprenticeships, career guidance, and specialist recruitment support. By bridging the gap between educational institutions and commercial employers, Cidori helps transform workplaces and create long-term career pathways.

However, representing this multifaceted ecosystem on a single website presented a significant digital challenge. Cidori’s legacy site struggled to communicate their value proposition to three distinct stakeholder groups:

• Further Education Colleges: Looking for reliable delivery partners to meet enrollment targets and extend their reach.
• Employers: Seeking strategic workforce development, apprenticeship training, and recruitment solutions.

In early 2025, Step3 initiated a comprehensive redesign process, starting with intensive wireframing and user experience mapping.

Detailed wireframing was the cornerstone of this project. Step3 mapped distinct, logical user journeys for each key audience group right from the homepage. By creating clear visual entry points for Colleges, Employers, and Learners, visitors can instantly navigate to tailored information without wading through irrelevant content.

Accessible, Modern UI/UX Design

We designed a clean, professional aesthetic that balances educational authority with commercial polish. Intuitive layout structures, clear typography, and strict adherence to web accessibility standards ensure the platform is effortless to navigate for all users across any device.

Scalable WordPress Engineering

Behind the scenes, Step3 built a custom, high-performance WordPress framework designed for long-term growth. The intuitive backend gives the Cidori team full flexibility to update service offerings, publish case studies, and announce new college partnerships quickly without technical friction.
